I bought the entire Sequentia Cyclica sheet music on a whim after seeing these videos and falling in love with Sorabji, and it took me about 30 minutes to realize that literally all but 30-40 pages in the 380 page score would be completely unplayable for me even if i spent my whole life practicing

Great first reading of this mammoth *part* of the 7th movement - I totally get how arduous it was to work this up with every sequence requiring its own fingering analysis. The ending runs are indeed an expansion of the OC Toccata, and should really sound like an apocalypse, followed by those ethereal-sounding octaves to close out the movement. The teaser you posted earlier makes more sense in full context. Don't know about the soulless psychopathy of it, but it did strike me as sort of a hybrid Concerto Grosso and Oratorio, with the "orchestra" declaiming the chords that the "pianist" would embellish on with ever greater fury. You are a Sorabji natural and look forward to all your posts! At this point you may have the whole piece mastered before we ever get that promised-9CD release from Tellef Johnson!

Thank you for the upload! Can't wait to give it the proper listen it deserves. As an aside, I was wondering if you (Eric) or any viewers have examples of music like this that suits instruments that don't have the polyphonic capacity of a piano? I have grown to love Sorabji's and Scriabin's work, but as a guitarist I have yet to find something I could convievably play... Some of Schoenberg's music has been arranged for guitar, but I've never taken to Schoenberg as much as Sorabji or Scriabin.
