For the record, I’m from Idaho. My non-indigenous family has been there since BEFORE Ft. Boise in what became Idaho Territory. Californians started their exodus to Idaho in 1979….WE HATE THEM. Viscerally. They destroyed my home town. They destroyed our beloved State’s culture. They have out taxed us to the point that no native Idahoans can afford to live in our beloved home. A few years ago, we had some neighbors that had moved from California to Colorado and then to Texas. Their daughter was friends with our youngest daughter and was frequently over at our house. I came home from work one evening to find a note on the front door from the neighbor that read: "Chyna will no longer be allowed on your property as long as they are guns in your house. It is completely irresponsible of you to have guns. PERIOD." So, being a good neighbor, I called the mom (who wrote the note) and asked how she knew we owned guns. She huffed and said "Your daughter told our daughter." I said "Did she also say that they were locked up in guns safes and only my wife and me had the combination?" She hung up on me so I waited until the weekend to talk to her husband Jerry. He invited me into their house and we sat down in his Man Cave (yeah...) and the first thing I noticed was a bong on the shelf and remnants of marijuana on the coffee table. He invited me to partake but I declined. I told him what had happened and he said he agreed with his wife; that his daughter would not be allowed to go to our house as long as there were weapons in the house. I thanked him and left. To reiterate- the people who forbade their daughter from entering a home with weapons in a locked safe left drugs laying around visible to the casual observer and we're bad parents? Um... Anyway, Chyna still came over.

A very proud moment for me, our local Walmart had to change their signs on the doors during the "pandemic" to state not only are masks mandatory but they have to be cloth and cover the nose and mouth- all because I wore a batman mask and claimed that I had a mask on when confronted about needing one

When I watched the episode where y'all went to the gun range, I said "That girl knows how to handle a gun. She must be an expert marksman in real life." It's very apparent that you're someone who knows how to use a weapon! I've actually never fired a gun, but my mother used to be a reserve police officer and she used to participate in marksman competitions and kicked ass! Love your work!

Thanks so much to introducing me to Babylon Bee! I’ve been binge watching their vids ever since! I hope they produce a second series of Californians moving to Texas! These two are so complimentary to each together; they have such great chemistry!

When we, Texans, welcome a California neighbor we say, 'here in Texas we recognize two things: Steers and Queers and obviously you have no horns on you!!"

I knew I was in a different place (from CA) when I walked into a Walmart at night in middle TN and the clerk came up to me, smiled, and said "Can I help you find something?"

I moved to Texas from Tennessee via Arkansas. I was disappointed in how friendly people were, sure they would say hi, but I have yet to get invited over to another Texan's house. All the time in Tennessee, some of the time in Arkansas, but 1.4 years in Texas and yet to get invited over. Come on, Texas, you gotta do better.
