I will always associate LMFAO with one of the most cringeworthy moments of my entire life: when I was in middle school (at the height of LMFAO's popularity), I walked into class late and when I was called out on it I sang "sorry for party rockin!" thinking i just made a very funny and trendy reference that ppl my age would appreciate, but the entire classroom went DEAD silent and I walked to my desk in utter humiliation

Idk what’s weirder about LMFAO: The fact that a group called “laughing my fucking ass off” was all over the radio and tv for years, or the fact that one member is the fuckin heir to Motown and the other became like a lawyer or something (Yes. what im about to say is not a joke or meant to be mean spirited. i have great memories about this album, avout 4 or 5 years ago, i worked with adults with disabilities. the most important thing about that job was organizing community activites, we wanted to get everyone out and having fun. the veterans lodge would let us use its facilities on wednesday afternoons and we woukd throw a dsnce party. this album would always get everyone up no matter how shy they were. most people would just stand around until lmfao came on

SkyBlu posted the full story in late 2016, saying Redfoo is just doing a "half-assed version" of LMFAO because he more or less just kept doing LMFAO-like music but solo, while SkyBlu went a more independent hip hop route. google LMFAO SkyBlu back injury and you'll find his post
