Spinner running through the hospital is one of my favorite panels of the entire manga.

Spiner truly spinned the narrative on heroes. I love it coz Horikoshi is staying true to his overarching idea of - there are no extras, and now it is true on both sides. Everyone can have a key role to play with enough incentive to strive for change. And Spinner´s love for Shigaraki was the incentive for Spinner to finally have the first success in his life.

What I appreciate with MHA's conflicts is that either side's competence isn't always compromised just to conveniently end a fight at an arbitrary point in the story. Instead, conflicts escalate or end because both side's plans collide with each other in chaotic ways. In a lesser author's hands, either the villains or the heroes would make a dumb mistake just to justify either side winning or losing, but Horikoshi is really good in making it so that both sides are equally as competent but their plans can be rattled by the plans of the opposing side.

Man it’s crazy that two moves completely turn the tide (kurogiri’s release and Dabi securing twice’s blood) without both those things, you could have contained it, but those combined makes it far more hopeless.

That and the super timing of it all? Like imagine if Toga used the blood earlier or later? Ok earlier would of been bad but the time limit would of been shorter or if Toga enter the portal and she get capture/ killed when she step out of it?

Looks like the power of friendship won in the end! Although it wasn’t in the way some were expecting. It wasn’t Present Mic’s love for his friend that ended up getting Kurogiri involved. Nah, it was the mutual love for Tomura that tipped the scales of the battle. While the fight with Tentacole was lost, the fight for victory has only just started!

BONES does it a lot and I hate it so much, in the manga when Present Mic took out Spinner, he ran towards Kurogiri while charging his attack, but Spinner used his last breath ran towards Kurogiri first In the anime, Present Mic just casually walked towards Kurogiri, and Spinner who's next to him, just stood up then ran towards Kurogiri. It's the small things that kill the tension BONES did this shit back in S4 too, when Suneater faced off the 3 villains, they just walked instead of ran

Kurogiri is a GIGANTIC game changer. And I just think back to season 1 when Kurogiri couldn’t do much as form portals by All-Might or the Nomu because they were moving so fast. Not even across the field, just the movements while staying in the same spot were literally blowing his warpgate away. Shame there’s none of THAT available. And with a villain reshuffle there’s two worst case scenarios with the infinite doubles, Dabi, and also still other wild villains. The possibility that AFS could escape erasure and therefore have a MASSIVE power advantage on Deku in no time flat with god knows how many multipliers and combining effects. (Deku NEEDS to naturally master 100% AND have the quirks to match all quirk AFS to stand any chance) And leaves AFO WITHOUT AN OPPONENT. Hit the panic button this train is going downhill fast.

I KNEW that damn hand had to have some kind of AFO transmitter/controller thing in it! Like Seasons ago I knew it! The way having the hands on reduced Shigiraki's conflict about doing things AFO wanted. That particular one was the 'Father' hand. He decayed back when he was a kid, but AFO replaced it. Perfect time to slip in a little 'leash' of some kind to consolidate his grip on the kid. Diabolical mf-er.

This episode might have been the most frustrating for me. Even after season 5&6 when I had realised the show had lost its touch, this final season brought me back big time. Big stakes, big power ups, final act (war) so we can finally end on a high note. The way kurogiri woke up was such an ass pull. Present Mic should have been on top of the situation by all means. Spinner was lying on the floor defeated, even discombobulated. Who wouldn't arrest him immediately? Bind him, immobilise him in any way you can since he is one of the major villains and highly unpredictable. Not to mention, kurogiri getting out is catastrophical for the heroes. WHY TF did Present mic not spam attack him, get close to him after he got down. I was so angry yelling at my screen. Not to mention the laugh I got after the supposed "momentum" of the rioters heteromorphs "changed". In seconds, by one guy talking. And we've seen a sea of people (rioters), you mean to tell me the people in the back heard/saw everything and changed their minds? Not even ONE of them was there for the kill, to get revenge against society and non-heteromorphs? Actually ridiculous how before the momentum changed the sky is orange and the "vibe" is ominous, and IN ONE FRAME the momentum changed and the sky is clear blue again. Almost like the biggest fire of the century was put out in an instance. What a joke, but at least that was plain funny and not frustrating like the kurogiri escape. Dabi finally getting to Endeavor is such a slap on the face for all we've seen so far of him and Shoto. All of Shoto's efforts meant literally nothing. In the end, it wasn't Shoto (representing the whole family and the trauma they went through) who put a stop to his lunacy and villainy. It was cathartic that Dabi DIDN'T get what he wanted and was building towards, revenge against his father by self-harm, but instead his brother stopped him. NOW, all of that goes out of the window, just to keep beating the same dead horse again and again, to see dabi cry out AGAIN, to see Endeavor suffer from his past sins AGAIN. Exhausting, frustrating and a kick in the balls for all we've built so far be it character development, war strategy or whatever else. FFS
