I had to watch this again. Lawd, I miss these times. It stirred something up in me. Brought back sooo many memories. I wonder what went Wong after these years. Just having a good time. I agree with another commenter- Just have a good time! No matter who you are, you're going to admire someone on Soul Train. In a way you see yourself. Wether they are on the floor or on stage. Black, White, Whoever. Fat or Skinny. In the words of the Great Comedian Katt Williams( using not exact words but same meaning). " It's going Down! Just Enjoy! 😂😂😂😂. Started watching in the Mid 70's. As a child, on Saturdays, my family would watch American Bandstand( Dick Clark)another Legend- because he would put Black artists on when nobody else would. During the Summer Dick would have a Dance Contest. Then Soul Train and Wrestling😂😂😂. You'd probably get shot if you'd walk in front of the TV when these three shows were on at the time😂😂😂😂. The Weekends were Truly a Treat! 😄

@@evep9515Me, too. I was born in '81, and Soul Train was playing the same morning my mother gave birth to me, on a Saturday lol. And trust, this show brought on an entire family gathering during those years as we would all sit directly in front of our television and watch with pride. Not to mention, we were doing the same dance moves at our local neighborhood house's dance nights, in the late '80s. Of course, I swore I was grown lmao. God, I treasure those memories. 🤎

The late 80’s/early 90’s Soul Train lines are perhaps the best. Nothing is compared to the very early 70’s lines but the craziness and the funky music makes this very entertaining.
