And that's how Siegfried got soul calibur in soul calibur 4

Actually, He first got Soul Calibur in SC 2. This game, is a retcon of the entire series, but Siegfried recovered himself, during Soul Calibur after he fought Xiangua, who possessed Soul Calibur, the first time it appeared in the series. In the original timeline, Soul Calibur was partially broken and separated into fragments, and he ends up drifting between being Nightmare, and Himself (whenever he feel asleep, Soul Edge took over his body, making him Nightmare). He had been trying to find a way to break the spell, and he came into contact with Soul Calibur, which he then drove into Soul Edge in an attempt to destroy it (in fact you see this flashback in the opening intro of Soul Calibur 3). In this game, He is broken free after his fight with Kilik, and he's trying to destroy the remaining fragments of the blade, and after it was destroyed in their battle. He gets Soul Calibur the same way he did in the original though. After it's first battle, Soul Calibur was litterally embedded inside of Soul Edge, Siegfried, basically pulls it out from Soul Edge, and holds it for the first time, before driving it back into Soul Edge to destroy it

@Raging Tyga He actually broke free after a fight with Raphael, not Kilik, in SC2

@@IamNster I think you have my timeline mixed. SC and SCVI are the same timeline, SCVI, retcons it and crosses into SC2 timeline (1584-1586 roughly). In OG timeline, Siegfried, as nightmare, fought Xiangua, who was possessing Soul Calibur, which was hiding as Krita-Yuga.

In NEW Timeline he broke free after fighting both Kilik and Xiangua. Old timeline, there is a Senario where he fought Raph, but it wasn't that fight that broke him free specifically. Soul Calibur was lodged in the sword from its initial battle with Xiangua. Raphael pierced the blade enough to expose it, Siegfried then takes it, and plunges it in. Prior to that, Siegfried had been going back in fourth from Nightmare to himself, it says so in his character story in SC2

@@PlayingGames97 If you read above I mention just that. To recap. OG timeline, in SC1, Siegfried is COMPLETELY under control by Soul Edge, as Nightmare. He battles Xiangua, who ended up with Soul Calibur, after that fight, SE was fractured but NOT Destroyed. This fractured but did NOT SEVER the connection of it and Siegfried. In SC2, Siegfried is wondering BACK and FORTH between himself and Nightmare. At this point, he faces Raphael, who just before succumbing to injury (and later corruption), pierced the EYE of soul edge. At this point, you see what we all see in the opening cutscene of SC3, Soul Calibur is exposed from within Soul Edge, Siegfried takes it and Drives it INTO Soul Edge, sealing it

I don't like the voice actor. I know this character is supposed to feel guilt pain and sorrow but he sounds too high pitch. It sounds fake and overly dramatic.

Kirk Thornton is OK, but I would have preferred to have heard Siegfried voiced by Crispin Freeman again, like he did in SC3

Never again. That is so OOC for Sieg to be voiced by Crispin Freeman in ALL games. This is the reboot so Sieg should sound young. Therefore Kirk Thornton is the best. SO THIS MEANS...YOU KNOW YOUR GODDAMN ROLE AND CUT THE GODDAMN CHATTER!
