The location is Bercelona a very beautiful city of Spain, she's singing in Catalán, which is another language from Spain. The cathedral is La Sagrada Familia, a brilliant master piece of a Spanish genius Gaudí. Mónica Naranjo is so talented and brilliant that the first time i watched this video i couldn't stop crying. Bagpipes in Spanish GAITAS, are traditional instruments from Spain too, mostly in the north of the country.

Bagpipe is a Celtic instrument, not just Scottish or Irish, there are bagpipes all over the Celtic area. In the Iberian Peninsula there are bagpipes in Galicia, North of Portugal and the Cantabrian area! The lyrics are in Catalan. By the way, we speak several languages in Spain: Castilian / Spanish, Galician, Basque, Catalan and others. We are bilingual in several territories!

Welcome to my mother tongue! Which is catalan. By the way, you almost pronounced it well, you're right the double ll is pronounced the way you did, but, you made a small mistake, the last r in agraïr doesn't sound. And anbout the translation of the lyrics, of course it doesn't translate exactly the same way. Finally, about the bagpipes, aren't just Scottish, is a traditional instrument in Galicia as well, for a longer time even, you should check the history of this instrument. Well, that's it, I read some comments so you've already been told that it was filmed in the Sagrada Família church in Barcelona. Nice reaction. Best regards from Barcelona! P.S.: it wasn't filmed live, and yes, she belted, that was her, not an instrument.

Hey, good reaction. I saw that the english translation is not the most acurate one... xD. So this one is more acurated (I'm not english, but I did my best). Of course, like you said this song is a cover of Amazing Grace in catalan, a language from Spain spoken in Catalunya, among other places. Today I want to be grateful to heaven for life, and to celebrate with you that I'm alive. Yesterday, I suffered so much. But now, it's past. With you, I want to pray so loud. Today, I'm gonna reborn once again. I will turn darkness into light. I'm gonna live without any fears, enjoying the world. And I will have you close to my love. We fight because we love, never doubt it. Love, makes the world has sense. We will win if we're strong today. Do not cry more. Today, we will believe in hope. Being grateful to God for be alive today. And answering to your question: Where in the world is this located? This is located in Barcelona, the capital of Catalunya, Spain. And is not a chateau, it's "El Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia" (Expiatory Temple of the Sacred Family) or The Sacred Family to shorten it, designed by catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). The construction started in 1882 and it remains unfinished today. The musicians are "Jove Orquestra Sinfònica de Barcelona" (Young Barcelona Symphonic Orchestra). And the bagpipes players are Xuntanza de Catalunya, galician people (in Galicia the bagpipes are traditional instruments) that lives in the outsides of Barcelona.
