Genius the way you break things down. I always appreciate the scientific, physical, audio and mental sides of music. I totally understood that end point, thats actually what i was hoping to get from this video. Tanks again Mike

Just splurged on the bundle last night, and already a bit of the mystery is gone regarding how they get *that* sound. Much appreciate your thorough demonstrations! *subscribe*

I found really cool way to distort bass with this. If you high pass the signal from the distortion unit and distort the just hi frequencies and blending dry to wet for hi-freq distortion, you can really find sweet drive for bass. Punish is my favorite :)

Even though this is an older plug-in, I'm glad you still made a review on it. I was able to learn several cool things about it that I didn't know before

Great video! Really dig background information on plugins from videos, manuals, etc. It helps you really capture the feel of the plugin and understand whats happening. Recently bought this plugin, after seeing Matador using his Culture Vulture and this plugin during his sessions. It really has that 'wow' factor to bring your mix further! Cheers!

Most definitely, one of my favorite. Especially the "E" Style setting for some vocals. Excellent information as always 👍🏼. Thanks Mike!

I did a demo on this one, its really good in what it does. I prefer the SDRR throughout my tracks as my Go to distortion plug-in. It does all kind of of distortion. You should try it Mike.

+Richard Dekkers I will have to check that one out. The difference here is that this is emulations of existing analog gear. It looks like the SDDR emulates the characteristics without trying to emulate a specific piece of gear. Doesn't mean one is better than the other, but I always love emulations of existing gear. Thanks! Mike

+Michael White True, decapitator is an emulation and sdrr not. Perhaps a good combination to have both in my arsenal in the future. Thanks!

Hey Mike, do you think this one holds up over the years in your opinion? One thing that seems lacking on this by today's standards is no oversampling. I'd be curious for your take!

Thanks again Mike! How's the CPU hit on this? Looks like a good one to beef up perc. and help anemic clap samples, among other things. ST5 is on sale right now, and an upgrade is under $200.00 so it's very tempting to grab the bundle!

You talked me in to it! Converted my other licenses and picked up the bundle. D-Cap is very fast to dial in and get separation. It is well thought out, simple enough for anyone who uses their ears, and has a few buttons to keep us Tweak Freaks happy. Thanks for the suggestion Mike!

Greatly appreciated sir for your effort. I just would like to know decapitator where should be used or useful during mixing a song?? Individual track ?? Or master Bus??

All I know is that the "T" is the Thermonic Culture Vulture emulation.
