What action, you want to tike? Weather changes was before, even without any machinery and technology! Isn’t it?! Better to tike care of your soul, and that is a personal decision every one and each has to make freely on their own, and no one can do it instead of another... repent from the sins, and seek the God and truth, and try to live it, with the help of Our True Father! The rest is not up to us! So, is good to help another people if you can, but it is a good thing that you do to your self, by doing sincerely, good to other... but save their souls is not up to you, it is a personal responsibility of each person themselves, yet self sacrifice would help, anyway... if people wouldn’t be so selfish consumers, then everything would be much better, and no disasters would be needed... but, that is to, something that we all got, as evil part, from our ancestors and only God can help us, to change our hearts, and see a true value of our life and in our life... money is not evil, as food and clothes or else, but it is only the instrument of goodness, not goodness it selves, it can bring also evil... so those, worship a money, automatically become evil, because if money are it’s own good, then everything else will be sacrificed to that idol! And true happiness, will be destroyed, even if it is looks different for most... it is the true! If you have money, you can get all earthly things that you need, but, if money become your idol, you are ready to kill, to steal and destroy all, that is staying on the way of getting forevermore, and become a monster... and so, money start to bring evil, instead of good, and that can grow to the giant proportions... and as we all live in one planet, then, that evil going to bite back, really hard!!! How simple it is if you look at it from far, but completely confusing when it is too close.... similar to it can be a drug, narcotic addiction, first it feel great, but it is too late when it get ugly!

We saw significant improvement in the environment when we had a shut down for just a short period of time. The skies were never as clear as they were when everyone was told to stay home. And that was only for a month! I think we would start seeing improvements as soon as we stop burning fossil fuels and start fixing our infrastructure to facilitate that process. It took less than a decade to make everyone switch to non leaded gasoline. No one put up a fuss because everyone knew that lead is bad for our environment and our health. Why cant we do the same during our generation? Give everyone 10 years to switch to a electric car and no longer sell vehicles that require gas and put charging stations at every gas station just like they started only carrying non leaded gas.
@Osti67
3 жыл бұрын
@@ginadelsasso288 That is true, but only referred to short term pollution changes like fine dust in the air and other pollutants. It significantly reduced the amount of carbon released during that time, but not enough to make an impact. The point is, that the weather system changes like storms, flooding draught, slowing of the Jet Stream etc these will not recover for thousands of years and therefore extreme weather events and water shortages will dictate the climate for this time. If we continue to pollute these events will get more severe over time. There is plenty of very interesting papers about these issues and the mechanism behind them. I would encourage you to read them, you do not need a degree to understand the preamble and conclusions of them. Many are quite easy to understand and follow up on.
@Osti67
3 жыл бұрын
@Heloise O'Byrne When I was referring to the thousands of years, I was talking about the draughts, flooding, extreme storms. You cannot just plant trees and water some valley to make them green to change the global weather system. To do that, you would need to reduce the carbon in the atmosphere. Water is going to be one of the most valuable resources in the coming century and therefore sparse for large regreen projects. And even if we reduce the carbon in the atmosphere, there is tipping points, that cannot be reversed like "The blue ocean event" or the "Melting of the perm frost", "the interruption of the major oceanic currents" which releases tremendous amounts of carbon and methane into the atmosphere making climate effects much more severe. The warming of the oceans e.g. will also release massive amounts of carbon, currently bound in the oceanic waters. This will make the ocean more acidic which again will kill many creatures that depend on shells protecting themselves like plancton and shells starting chain events in the oceanic food chain.... Some events have started already some of them are already to late to stop. There is plenty of interesting material about these mechanisms. I would encourage you to look up some studies on these issues on Google Scholar. Most of them are an interesting read and easy to understand. This way you do not need to rely on opinions but can follow the trail of the evidence.

We were warned! We did nothing! We read books and watched movies and shows that depicted this happening and yet we still ignored the warnings! We watched as fires and floods, hurricanes and tornadoes ripped through areas of the country where it was once thought impossible for these things too occur. But even then as we watched in horror as thousands of people died, we pretended that it wouldn't happen to us!! Al Gore and several other far more intelligent people did everything they could to wake up the country to the reality of what was coming and what did the people do?? They criticized a film from Al Gore called "An Inconvenient Truth" and said that it would all be fine because we had time! So everyone continued to pump lethal chemicals into the atmosphere. Chemicals that you and I would never have wanted to breath in but yet we had no problem forcing the atmosphere too ingest them, because the people advocating against them were painted in a light that made them appear to simply just want to make more money by forcing those same Corporations poisoning us out of business, and the best way to do that was by lying about a threat we could have prevented from happening. But in case you haven't noticed it yet, it is already to late!! Elon Musk has a plan to build a new civilization on Mars. He wants to colonize Mars and have a 1 Million person population on Mars by 2050! The signs were here the whole time and nobody bothered to notice that the worlds richest people were indeed planning there escape. The future of the human race depends upon getting people off the planet once it gets a bit more severe then it is today in 2021. Come 2050, we are more likely to be dead then we are likely to be capable of anything else in it death. Gretta Thunberg tried to save the world too. But of course just like they ignored Al Gore, they ignore her too. We will get what we deserve for destroying the planet. And it's going to start with America. One side is in fire and the other half is drowning. Were all already dead and most just dont realize it yet. Farewell fellow Earthlings!!

I drove into New Orleans as the storm was rolling out. Not many flooded streets at all. Power was out, but that is expected. The real damage was on the coast. It was not that bad. This hurricane was over reported and highly exaggerated. The "south" isn't in ruins. Only about an 80 mile stretch of coast got hit hard and most of that has no beach and is swampland.

@ModalSoul

That's the housing industry all over the country. Most other countries use concrete or bricks to make a house. It's supposed to be cheaper using wood since we have a lot of it here. It's depleting fast though. Some houses in other countries last over 500 years being made of stone. These contractors are in it for the income not outcome. A lot of these wooden homes barely make it past 100 years. You can hardly pass them to generations without repairing them.
