My memories are late ' 60 ' s , early ' 70 ' s , so I got to experience the transition of slingshot dragsters to rear engine dragsters and also guys like Wild Willie Borsch and Jungle Jim Lieberman !

Great video!! I miss those days at National speedway in Long Island NY. I had a '67 Chevelle 327/350 hp that ran mid 12's. Those were great times!!!

OUTSTANDING how drag racing was born !!! Build one in your garage cruise it to your local drive in on Friday / Saturday night maybe pick up a few bucks to build it a little faster. Pure sportsman racing.

Man-a-live, the race is won and lost at the starting line. Them guys chopped that tree down. I sure would like to see some reaction times cause I bet there were more than a couple 0s
