@GammerGurten
3 жыл бұрын
@@JWilz King of the Hill is an animated American situation comedy than ran from 1997 to 2010 and is still enjoyed in syndication. Hank Hill is the protagonist and represents the average, middle-class man in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas. Hank’s father, Cotton Hill, married one of Hank’s former high school classmates, and they had a child together, whom Cotton also named “Hank.” To distinguish the baby from his middle-aged son, Cotton calls the baby “Good Hank,” which insinuates his adult son is “Bad Hank.”

My mother's first name is Jimmie. My grandparents, long time Atlanta residents, were already in their 30's when my grandfather returned from the European front in WWII, and the thought of the times is that women were not as likely to have children that late. When my grandmother got pregnant, they thought they'd only have this one chance, and they decided they'd name that child after my grandfather, James Jr. if it was a boy and Jimmie Sue (a southern plural name) if it was a girl. They had a daughter and Jimmie has been her name for 70+ years.
