The Southwest Australian Global Biodiversity Hotspot is very rich in diversity with over 7,000 plant species listed (more than half of those are endemic), however there are still many unlisted plants and it’s estimated that the total number of plant diversity could exceed 10,000. It is an honour to live in this region and I have shared some lovely scenes, for you to enjoy, in this video. You will also find out what Global Biodiversity Hotspots are, why they are important and what you can do in your area to help support biodiversity.
