Welcome to Shut Up & Dye, the Eclipse Tie-Dye company channel! 🌈 In this video, I'm excited to share my process for creating a stunning Geode Tapestry Ice Dye with a Southwest color theme. Using 100% twill cotton soaked in soda ash and spun dry, I tightly bound the fabric with sinew to capture the essence of a geode. This was a 'muck dye,' allowing the fabric to sit in the ice melt for a full 24 hours to achieve vibrant, blended colors. ❄️🌀
After letting the dye set, I neutralized the chemicals with Dawn dish soap and washed the fabric repeatedly with Persil detergent to ensure it's clean and ready to display. 🧼🌀
