Hi! Thanks for sharing this video! This movement was not produced between 1957 to 1962, but after 1964. The "B" (Vostok) logo began to be used only since 1964. Until 1964, the movements were marked with the ChChZ logo (ЧЧЗ). Cheers from Russia!)

Great video, I have the same watch. Never thought about putting it on a bund strap. It looks great. I got the same dial on eBay I think. Would you mind sharing which brand of tools you are using? I am looking to start repairing my own and would love to know.

@@tickingWATCH советую вам, перед тем, как извлечь головку с заводным валом, перевести ремонтуар в положение перевода стрелок. Если этого не сделать, очень велика вероятность полного разбора ремонтуара.

Good video and good watchmaking! Want to mention that the dial is a modern reproduction and not an authentic one.

Are Poljot or Slava movements considered as any good ? I have quite a few old Sekondas in exceptional condition, I collected them over 10 years ago with USSR markings on the dials, mainly hand wind and automatic. I just thought they would become popular one day because of the USSR markings. When I started collecting them , back in 2006 to 2009, you could buy hand wind watches, such as top condition 50's, 60's and 70's Citizen's and Swiss watches for a British pound or too. NOBODY WANTED THEM.

I think they are quite good and there is a lot of enthusiast out there so their value should go up.

Hi, I have what you are working on, but my movement is a Russian language movement, not in English. So do I have a watch where the English language movement was replaced with another one, (In Russian), or did some Export English language Precision class watches have some movements in Russian?
@tickingWATCH

They should be the same so do not worry 😀

Very, very nice. Is that a real cold case ? I'm a new subscriber in the UK, enjoying your work very much. Do you ever work on old USSR Sekonda manual and automatic watches or are Sekonda considered to low value/cheap a watch to bother with ? Are you living in Russia ?

Hi, thank you for joining tickingWATCH. I live in Poland and here we have quite a lot of soviet timepieces, unfortunately mostly in average condition. Better pieces everyone keeps. Sekonda is having inside mostly Poljot and Slava movements.

I'm really glad that you like it, maybe I will make a post, anyway this is an old timepiece (over 70 years) so I would not expect to much from it.
