Thanks for the "plot" review. Totally fascinates me and wish we would have done this with cotton back in the day.

and THE PLOT thikins.... wait... no now it's thinner but the DATA the PLOT DATA THICKENS !!!!! :) yea that one !! :) I have been hearing the ''FEED ME'' snake oil is ''MAKEING A DIFFERENCE'' for what it's worth, I have seen 3 diff farmers talkin about the SOURCE stuff and it has made ''A DIFFERENCE'' pretty sure it's been ''if you push it with everything to get significant differences tho....'' or something like that it seems to me.... werdzage to that effect! :)

That 7520 looks a lot better than ours.😂 we have cows and over 8k hrs. It sometimes identifies as a Cat and has a tangle with trees.

Nathan can you talk about the chicken litter a bit? I heard you mention this video again, and it sounds like you pay for it? I assumed it was free so the chicken farms can get rid of the litter. And is there to much you can apply to your fields? Is it every field every year? Thanks

Does Source have a product that can go in a 5 GPA of Anderson's 6-24-6 pop-up starter fertilizer while planting corn?
@BorderViewFarms
Күн бұрын
The Source has to go on foliar but they do have a product called Blueprint that can go on with starter fertlizer. It's an AMF designed to colonize the roots and help move nutrients into the plant.

Great videos. Question, I want to spread lime on now after we take beans off and then chisel plow the ground. My Dad and the guy that runs the elevator says no you don’t want to work it in that deep, Put it on in the spring before planting. What are your thoughts? I would think since your doing it now it doesn’t matter if it gets worked in deep unless missed understood and your not ripping that field. Thanks for your input.

Why wouldn't they want it worked in? We've always do it in the fall and worked it in. Theoretically you only want it in the top 6" but not much will make it deeper than that.

They say you put it in the top and disk it in the spring so it helps the ground up higher and it can work its way down naturally is there thought. Im trying to tell them it doesn’t matter because even if we wait till next spring your still going to chisel plow it next fall so what difference does it make. Thanks for your reply. Trying to convince these old timers is difficult lol

How do you know how much to spread without having current soil samples? Did I miss the soil sampling after harvest? Seems like the growing season would effect how much to add after harvest.
