What would think of separating your track in different parts so you can loop them indefinitely. Like pad 1: intro 2: verse 3: chorus 4: outro. So you start with your intro and then can go back and forth between your verse and chorus for as long as you want, then outro. I think it could be interesting in a live situation 😀😀

Def something you can do in the pattern sequencer! Or if your timing is really good, free hand!

The one thing that is always a turn-off /slash mystery to me is that there is all this effort that goes in, the time, the money, the videos, hell, even the cute little cliche tats he has and ... the end result, at least to my ears is the same ol' sounding shit everyone is doing. I literally cannot close my eyes and tell the difference between his efforts and the next guys efforts. It all just sounds the same. I'm sure it sounds good to him and really, that's all that matters and of course his fan base but after watching these videos for years now, you kinda know what to expect, what you're going to hear. Rarely and I do mean rarely do you hear something really unique and different ... something you would associate with radio play or some of the big names. I myself have mostly focused on music structure, theory, history, deep dives, etc and the reason I focus on those areas is I don't want to just make music but to have a command of it. When I started to put some of my music on social media starting back in 2009, I was lucky in that I attracted the attention of a handful of people that eventually allowed me to quit my job, move, put a little ( now a lot ) money into a studio, was just a bedroom at the time and, make music for other producers to build upon, mold, shape, rebuild and put their touches to it. To this day I ghost beat for maybe 3 dozen producers who then take those beats and creat music. And, I am blessed, I've had maybe 8 or 9 seeds end up on the radio over the past 7 or 8 years or so. My success is directly attributed to putting A LOT of effort into not sounding average, like this guys music. And while that sounds like a diss, it's not. That's his destiny, that's where his efforts took him. At the end of the day, his music reflects his aspirations and ambition. I would tell people to take notes, record snipets of the parts of music you like, deconstruct them, make them batter and then craft your songs. Good luck.

There's so much to mention here: I agree a lot of KZitem stuff does sound the same because often times it's educational and the focus is on how to use a particular instrument and not so much on the music itself- especially when it comes to hardware instruments. I wouldn't recommend coming to niche synth / music hardware KZitem content to hear ground breaking music. That being said, there are some channels that do have both!

I find it works well when there’s a lot of space in your track and if you dial it in properly.

When you’re putting your sounds on your sp are you just uploading your stems from a folder or dragging the audio file straight out of ableton?
