Learn how to build a simple animation of a low-earth pass of a spaceship in Blender. In it, I cover how to set the camera tracking constraints, use the Sketchfab plugin to import a model, setup a high quality planetary shader and composite the effect with some simple glare and fog glow.
This is targeted at beginner to intermediate users of Blender. Whilst I do cover a lot of the shortcuts and techniques used, I do go through it at a reasonable pace, as if I was building it from scratch myself.
If you're interested in more advanced animation, or references for your own, I highly recommend checking out Technouveau ( / technouveau )
