Unfortunately, Boeing, once the world leader in aerospace has fallen victim to the short term bottom line mindset of Jack Welch; The syndrome of arrogance, destroying unions and eliminating a sense of community. As a result, engineers don't stay with Boeing and the ones that do often don't care about the company (which has proven that they don't care about quality, their personnel, the public or safety). It's a shame. I'd like to hope that it's not too late for Boeing. If they reverse the Jack Welch mindset and return to community, personnel, innovation, safety and quality values, perhaps they can still make a recovery. Beware the Pan Am view that they are too big, too great to fail!

Interesting how Boeing can make the x-37 reentry vehicle that's flawless. For the US military. And have all the problems with the Starliner. Boeing should have put his money behind the Dream Chaser reusable space plane. Oh and since I'm an American 77 m is about 252 ft

Though labor unions incur considerable costs and can significantly slow a company's progress, instilling a sense of compassion and protection which unions generally foster has enabled most organizations to survive for the long-term.

OK - HOW NICE :-) - When will you launch your own transfer and rescue station in space in low orbit? You'll need something to help NASA and other :-) And while you're at it, you could refuel and test the behavior of rockets after a longer orbit and have a SpaceDragon in reserve just in case.
