Spanish meatballs, also known as "albondigas", are ideal with bread, rice or simple as a tapa with some bread.
These are the ingredients for 4 people: (video done for 8 people)
SAUCE:
- Tomato passata 600 ml
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves crushed
- 350 gr chorizo diced (optional)
MEATBALLS:
- 250 gr minced beef
- 250 gr minced pork
- 55 gr dried breadcrumbs
- 4 garlic cloves crushed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 tbsp finely chopped parsley leaves
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- Plain flour for dusting
- 280 g frozen peas
- Salt and pepper
