Thanks for your honest report and especially for the table with the parts and venders. Few videos offer that level of detail : )

for tires i recommend strongly SHINKO for tires ! ( 241/244 are you choices for this model ) especially if you are going offroad. the only thing i am really interested in here is the additional gas tank ! its expensive but sweet... what i love about it is i can skip the side rack and the saddle bag would easily attach. thanks for the video ! ( btw prices are higher since this video )

Thanks for the tire suggestion. I think I will switch to SHINKOs. I have had some out of round issues with the set I have now. The spare gas tank is 👌

@@QuantiQualification even though I still love shinkos ! I got the v rubbers instead. ( I'm mostly street but want a little more for beach sand and mud etc..) just figured I would let you know. Also seems like gouging is the 'new' thing that isn't leaving any time soon. Even still

@@KtotheL Thanks for that. I am thinking about perhaps trying to do a tubeless conversion. What type of liners are you speaking of?

My '21 CT is still stock as a rock. Other than oil, the only thing I've replaced is the spark plug at 6500km. The new plug made a massive improvement to acceleration and top speed. Gained 10kph at WOT and can sit on 95kph no worries.
@QuantiQualification

That is a really great speed. Interesting that a new spark plug made that much difference!

i wish i had found your videos first but i already have most of what you have and just added some to my amazon cart. and really close to the same amount you have on yours. so i will go back before i hit the buy now button and see if i cant find your parts may save me some money. oh and i am your newest Subscriber. at least for today. LOL. i love that gas can but i already have one and going to use it until something happens to mine and i hope it dont any time soon. but when and if it does brake i like they way it tucks under and not outside your rack like mine does.

Any thoughts on suspension?
@QuantiQualification

So far, I haven't felt the need to upgrade. I may do the half rotate mod for a little bit of suspension lift but satisfied for now, especially once I throw on the 3.0x17's that I have in the garage.

*Honda shot themselves in the foot by not including the dual-range transmission, it's what made the original sing*

I agree with that. My Honda Trail 110 really was great, but too slow in high range. I think ideal would be a 150 with dual range these days!
