best malay lesson on line.. please keep making more lessons, from a londoner who lives in malaysia for more than 10 years and still can only speak very basic.. usually when im with locals and my malaysian wife and her family and they speak so fast amongst them selves i cant catch it and i just sit there looking like a dumb ass.. and people ask me how long i been in malaysia i tell them 10 years, they are horrifed knowing that my malay is like a form student.. my 6 year old son speaks better than me.. hope to learn more from you and i hope you encourage more malaysians to make more videos so there a lot of resources for the foreigner living in malaysia to learn and imrprove

I am Malaysian and I really love the way you break down the meaning of each words so that other can understand the sentence structure.

Thank you so much for watching! Yeah, I did it because when learning new language, I'm always curious what individual words mean. Hopefully in this way, people can be familiar with our sentence structure.

I thought tengah is centre. Why is it paired up with cari? dekat = kat. but kata = talk?
@misterbombasticgralak

Tengah is unformal. Yes it is centre. But it resembles the word "sedang" but nobody use it unless formal situation

phoonjzc Hello, like any other language out there, some words have multiple, unrelated meanings. A lot of your questions can be answered by owning a dictionary. Since you have many questions, I suggest you find a private tutor.
