Lowe’s started using those Quams in their stores around 2006. The metal back boxes on those appear to be Fourjay PE8, so seeing them paired with Quams is interesting. Lowe’s stores are the only place where I’ve seen that configuration.

The fact that Lowe's uses such great horns in all their locations upsets me even more that they don't play music in the garden center!

The newest Lowe’s stores built after 2014 have Fourjay 216/70 TD horns in their garden centers. Lowe’s has done a lot of flip-flopping over the years when it comes to using Fourjay products.

@@jeffreywiggins3491 The older ones use the Fourjay 306 which while I like it, I've always felt was way too small for large format applications like this.

Fourjay is my favorite speaker manufacturer and the 306 is my favorite horn. I also love the Bogen SPT5A and Valcom V-1080. Reflex horns look so cool IMO. The 306 can be found at Lowe’s stores built from 1997 to 2000. Before that, they used TOA horns. From 1990 to 1993, they used TOA TC-101TA horns in the front “greenhouse” area of the garden center and larger TOA TC-151TA horns in the rear area of the garden center (mulch/soil area) as well as behind the store. From late 1993 to 1997, they exclusively used the TC-101TA for all outdoor areas.

I also like how they spraypaint their AP15T horns in the canopy area pure white.
