Hey boys great video as always could you recommend a good beginning hand spear and also I'm a bit confused about a few things like how much wait I would need if I'm only diving in up to 5 mtrs and do you recommend buying a dive float

+harry hayward hey mate i would recommend the land and sea javelin handspear because it comes with the option of a ranger or a mako head tip. The amount of weights you use is hard to judge because it depends on how buoyant you are personally and what thickness and type of wetsuit you use. Yes i de recommend using a float and flag. Having a float and flag gives you somewhere to put your catch and having a float and flag also gives boats and kayakers an idea of where you are. hope this helps!

What size guns do you use for the kings

Do you think a decent (or anything above legal) sized kingfish would be hard to handle for someone the age of 15? Awesome video btw 👍

Thanks heaps! And it should be okay Aslong as you keep an eye on the float line or reel line to stop yourself from getting tangled, all comes down to experience. But all in all a kingy smaller than 90cm should be pretty easy to maintain for someone of that age

+matthew abraham hey mate thanks! and id say just stick to local headlands that aren't too dangerous and work on your breath holds and stalking fish. good fish would include bream, red mowing, ludic, flathead, whiting and if you come across kings, bonito or if you are very very lucky in sydney a jew
