Imagine how frustrating it must be to have thoughts trapped inside because your mouth won't let them out. God Bless you, Scott.

My mum looked after a 23 year old guy with cerebral palsy for a year. It kinda cuts to think he could degenerate to this point, I met him quite a few times and he was a great guy. He couldn't walk but was always really damn happy and just spread positivity, he would crawl on his knees when he was in the house and was pretty independent. He went horseriding actually, had to have trained people either side though, so I doubt he ever really picked up speed, can't imagine what that was like for him though, sure it made him feel amazing. Anyway, this guy quite often disassociated, and lived other lives where he could walk and had a beautiful girlfriend and car and all this shit. It made me feel really bad for him when he would just sit there telling me stories that were just fantasy. I feel as though this is a common thing with people that suffer from disabilities like this, would not be surprised if our ice skating friend here does the same. I came here for laughs but I got cut.

it's hard to explain. it's like when someone is pointing a gun to your head threatening to shoot, but inexplicably you have a huge boner. you know one shouldn't correlate with the other, but it just happens sometimes. it's like, the whole thing is really saddening and depressing but some coping mechanism in my brain is telling me to just laugh it off.
