Thanks Man! I found a couple spots holding trout after running into y’all. That were biting pretty good in one stretch but i pushed through them to get home at a decent time.

Dwayne, I see you using 1/8 jigheads. Is that your go to weight. What is your criteria for light weight lures. Clark

Thanks for watching first of all. To answer your question it all depends on the situation. If it’s not deep like 3’ or less I’m using 1/8 more than likely. But depth is not the only factor. Current plays a big role in jig head size. If fish are on the bottom you have to get the lure to them therefore heavier jig head. Wind can also determine jig head size for me. If it’s really windy I’ll use a heavier jig head. I’ll up size till I find what works best. Otherwise I usually start with 1/8 in shallow waters 1/4 in 4 to 6’ and deeper if current is not moving fast and up size in deeper till I find what works best.
