Definitely a very good tip. I've learned the hard to be gentle with the ends of antenna wires. Receiver's aren't cheap.

Wow didn't even know you can replace the antenna..... Now I've never broke any as Most of my rigs are short course and felony so all inside... But I've my eyes on the Typhon and notorious etc.... A great vid this is fantastic news and simple to do brilliant Earl thank you 😊

You can repair a 2.4GHz antenna, by stripping the outer ~31.5mm(Or 31.23mm to be precise) shielding/grounding off.

I know it’s way cheaper than the receiver so of course fix it… But man, whoever sells those antennas for $8 a pop is killin it 🤣 they probably buy them for $0.02 from their Chinese wholesaler

I sometimes tape them but water can still get in threw the areas glued coming off around the wheels so venting and taping the holes are the best way I found to make them last..the foams degrade over time anyways
