How do you switch to automatic nailing instead of single shot
@hammerandhome
Жыл бұрын
Max has a actual switch they give you to change that. It’s something you would have to decide how you want your setup to be. It’s an orange trigger. Now that I’m thinking of it this gun might be different than their strip nail framing guns. I’ll have to check again

Bye any chance are there any ballistic screws that work on the CN445R, or is it too old of a model?

I think that’s the roofing nailer if I’m correct? And I don’t think ballistics work with the roofing guns. Only the framing nailers.

@@hammerandhome it is the roofing gun but it goes up to 1 3/4

Does that make a difference?

@@ffsrdr6596 the heads on roofing nails are way bigger than framing nails or ballistics. I think the nails wouldn’t work in the roofing nailer. I have one so I’ll take a look at it.

Those screws are called scrails here in the states. Most all of my nail guns that I own are Max. My newest is the $400 Max nf255sf2/18. I use it to install custom fireplace mantles and trim. The gun was discontinued for about 8 years and was finally reissued this year due to demand. My other favorite trim gun is the $250 Senco finish pro 21LXP which shoots headed pins. Check wih Max about replacing a few parts in your nailgun with the new stainless steel ones to prevent sticking.

thanks for the tip, I have the Senco 23ga nailer and it is so well built. love that gun. I'm amazed at how many framers I see not using ballistic nails for floors or Scrails. it makes it so much faster .
