Back at it again!
As you all may see, I actually used my drawing tablet and my laptop to make this! It was my original plan for the series, but was unable to. Now I can fully do so! Yay! Y'all like the new pen pressure? I very much do
Story so far:
The air smelled of corruption, water, and sorrow. Driftquill could easily point that out as she walked deeper into the cave. No matter how hard she tried to ignore it, the feeling of pressure to save everyone kept creeping in, devouring her spark and soul whole. She felt sick to her tank every time she caught a whiff of the corrupted air. She hated all of this. She just wanted her friends back.
As she traveled along the rocks and edges, she arrived at a new level, she looked around... and on the top of a rocky edge, she saw Jetstorm. He was on the edge of a purified rock, trying to avoid touching the corrupted rocks surrounding him. Not only that, but he was trying to stop himself from falling into the corrupted waters below.
"Jetstorm!" Driftquill shouted, hopeful and grateful he wasn't corrupted and he was alright. Jetstorm, hearing the familiar voice of the hero, turned his head towards her, before turning the rest of his body to her. His limbs gently floating away from his body, but enough to still look connected even though they weren't.
"Driftquill!! Thank goodness you're here!" Jetstorm said cheerfully and relieved.
"Where's Drift and Slipstream?"
Jetstorm looked sad before shaking his head gently. Driftquill immediately knew that the two must've fallen to the corruption. Jetstorm explained that while Drift was trying to protect him and Slipstream, Steeljaw had stabbed the triangle piece right into his spark, corrupting him nearly on impact. Before becoming one with the pink corruption, he told them to scatter and run, to try and stay uncorrupted until Driftquill arrived.
Driftquill's spark broke in two. How heartless was Steeljaw to do such a thing!? Traumatizing Drift's students by corrupting their master right in front of their optics. It was so cruel.
"Don't worry Jet! I'm gonna fix all this! I promise!" Driftquill promised, ready to step foot into the next level. Jetstorm gave a quick nod before refocusing on not to fall. Driftquill gave a soft breath as she jumped into the next level, Clash.
As the surroundings were the usual darkness, small circles and squares summoned around her, acting as stars in a twinkling night sky. Driftquill did her best to avoid them the best she could. As she proceeded, a giant boom sounded off as a square was summoned, small square particles followed in its dance. Driftquill yelped in shock, quickly ducking to stop it from hitting her. Then, another boom, a circle emerged from the darkness. It acted the same way the square did, but it had circle particles following behind. Then another square. Then another circle.
Before Driftquill knew it, there were 3 of each beginning to follow her around, bouncing around. Then, two bots emerged from the darkness. The familiar medic looked aggressive and killer like. His minicon, Undertone was the same way. They both had their familiar color schemes, but the optic catching difference was the two giant cannons on one of their arms. Ratchet's cannon was decorated in a way to symbolize the squares he launched. Undertone's cannon was designed with circles and curves to symbolize the circles he shot. Both however had triangles attached to them to point out their obvious corruption.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the hero, Driftquill. Here to stop Steeljaw in creating his perfect world," Ratchet spoke, his venomous words darkened, looking at Driftquill with a dark, annoyed expression. Undertone couldn't speak, as he was muted, but his gaze was the same as Ratchet's.
"Perfect!? What's so perfect about a world where no one can control themselves!?" Driftquill said, quickly getting out of their cannon radius. Ratchet scoffed as Undertone and him took aim.
"A perfect world without you heroes in it!!" His words hurt like poison. Suddenly, as the beat dropped, the two began launching squares and circles at Driftquill, attempting to break and shatter her. Chip! Crack! Driftquill was easily hit twice! One more time... she didn't want to find out what happened.
As the level was about to end, Ratchet and Undertone looked out of strength. All their energy was practically wasted trying to attack Driftquill with their large cannons... Which were REALLY heavy. Driftquill took this as an opportunity to quickly uncorrupted their triangles and finish the level, successfully not shattering.
That was too close...
