I really wanna get into D&D but I’m not sure what it’s all about! This is such a beautiful piece of art, and BTW, take as much time as you need with TempestClan!!

D&D is a blast! It really helped me with my confidence and it's just all around a good time. What it's about can vary from group to group and it might take a couple times to find a group that is a good fit, but once you do it's amazing. For me D&D is all about telling stories with a group of people and seeing to growth in characters, from both the literal power-scaling aspect as you level up and the narrative story arcs. There's tons of video references on here that can help you get started! The groups I play with now are ones I found on Roll20 which is an online tabletop, I didn't mention it in the video, but I've gotten really lucky with finding good groups so if you decide to try it out, be safe and don't be afraid to leave a game if it's not comfortable for you. The table should be a place where everyone feels safe and respected

love it! and the message about growth. i think so many artists forget that art is a journey and not a race. we progress every day in small ways that often go unnoticed and the reminder to look back at our old stuff is well recieved, at least from me. also, i would love to see some individual tempestclan episodes. maybe small like ten minute somes that refresh their story and dive into details we don't usually see.

I forget it a lot, it's easy to do! Saying it over and over, especially in a video helps me cement it too. That's what I was hoping to try! Especially so I can maybe keep up with some videos once my semester starts, between classes, rugby, and tutoring I probably wouldn't have enough time to do full year updates, but small refreshes could be really fun. I just love getting to expand on character lore

As someone who has done archery you could absolutely do it with one eye, as long as you could still see out of your dominant eye. Some people actual wear eye patches when shooting since you have to close one of your eyes and some people have trouble! It's awesome to see your improvement, you're an incredible artist!

Oh thank you for the info! I didn't know about the eye patches, that's really interesting and makes sense now that I sit back and think about it!

I've always wanted to get into D&D, but i've never got the time or the knowledge. But I still really like the re-design of this character! Despite only having three videos, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite creators!!!!

Thank you so much, I'm going to tear up at these kind words ;u; D&D is definitely something I recommend to almost everyone! It can be a little daunting to learn mechanics (I fully admit 6ish years in I still struggle with spell slot management) but if you ever find yourself with the time to, try and check it out!

I know it's hard to continue uploading videos after the last few haven't been getting some much deserved attention but you have to push through and keep doing what you love!

@@alyxleaf I guess I should give actual context, Dingo was a chicken who was hit with some magic that turned him and his flock super-sized. This was a bit of a filler session, but the DM didn't expect us to tame the chickens and keep them as mounts, so now that whole party has lovely giant angry chicken mounts
