Is the first time that I see someone build a "home made" stethoscope just to hear the pinging that occurs in a combustion chamber..!! Is a good way to optimice the spark table and not just guessing... regards from Mexico city

absolutely! works great as you can hear. but plenty of people have done it and shown on youtube. though many people use it wrong. it is VERY important to get the placement right, otherwise you will only hear very heavy knock

Have not used a stock knock sensor from an mx5 i know that the bosch sensors work well tho

kann man die software auch an einem standart steuergerät vom ford focus st mk2 anschließen oder braucht man dafür eine aftermarket ecu`?

@@Bega309 ne brauchst leider ein standalone. Das wàr sonst ja schön haha Aber auch für solche autos gibts da optionen, kostet aber wegen canbus etc.etwas mehr

@@Xos_BassHead999 yes, on boost you would reduce timing. Rule of thum to be safe would be reduce timjng by 1 degree every psi of boost you add
