Love BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY!! Anyone out there considering being “done” with having babies, please read this book first! God wants us to trust Him with our family size! Man I’ve gifted so many copies of it and Nancy Campbell is just the sweetest- her podcast “live to the full” is wonderful as well.

I love your videos!! Can you share recipe for oxtail soup? I never know what to do with the oxtails when we get our cow
@AmmieHarris
2 ай бұрын
Hi Ashlee! This soup is so good and I actually crave it all the time! I don't have an exact recipe but this is what i do.--I pretty much make any soup this way just swapping out veggies and meats as I have them.. Sauté onions and garlic in large pot. Add root veggies-potatoes & carrots Add bone broth and lots of salt and oxtail meat. Add any other spices desired. I add 1-2 TBSP Molasses for this recipe with the oxtail. - Helps balance out the flavor Let simmer and cook on medium/low for 8-12 hours. Pull oxtail meat off bones before serving! I wish more oxtail came with our cow order!

Beautiful video. How many meals do you generally rotate between for cooking? My husband and I are not from families that cooked at home, so we'd love to know what you do!

Are yall calf/milk sharing, separating calf from cow at night and milk in morning or is calf completely separated from cow? I forget when calf was born! Have you compared prices with Thrive for your organic food items to see if cheaper (or not)? It's getting so close for that little baby to be in your arms!...If he/she isn't already! Praying for a peaceful birthing experience for you and baby since you posted last week's video!

We are calf sharing. Cow is with her calf all day long and we only milk in the am after separating them for ~10ish hours at night! It’s been working wonderfully for our schedules! And I do use thrive every now and then! I used to buy monthly but I personally didn’t find them that much cheaper! Definitely more variety then my local stores but I just got out of the habit of ordering as often! But I do love thrive! And thank you so very much for your prayers! I know God’s hand is upon us as we welcome our new little one!

Love this. Looks like our daily life too with milking and yogurt and such. I have been 1-2 weeks past dates twice and those babies were so so healthy! What I finally did at the advice of a long-time birth helper is stop the RRL tea, within 24 hours or stopping it my uterus was ready. Not sure if coincidence but it seemed to help not go too far past that 42 week mark. Blessings!! You’re doing great. Not much longer ❤
