I am learning so much from this channel! It has really opened up ideas for mode! Cant wait for any updates on this mod! Thanks for the great videos!

Try out the hardcore bones cone bushings, They have a ton of springy rebound for pumping, and they are even flat enough to fit that roadsidebushing perfectly. Which width do u ride these bears? 130mm or 155mm?
@skate-horizons

@@metl_scouting 130mm. Never had bones, but I'm curious. I would love to just have a Megapack. 100 bucks for a set of all durometers to test.

Another truck has been Michael-ed 😁 you are quite ready to open a side business in spericalizing trucks by now! 😊 For the bushing size, I generally like to use 3mm spacers on trucks that use tall bushings to bring them back to normal bushings, If I feel that the reboud comes "too late in the lean" to be efficient pumping. Also wider bushings or cupped washers have a similar effect.

Yeah, thats what I would love to get some input from you, the tall bushing creates a little too much lean for me at those low durometers, it feels like you lose too much energy there! Im gonna cut down another bushing to see if there is a big difference using it boardside or not!

@@skate-horizons I have limited experience with bushings less tall than a standard barrel on rkp... you can maybe slim out 1 or 2 mm or just use a street size bushing boardside, compensating the height difference with washers... or just go the more traditional ldp way by getting a farcone shaped bushings that, due to more side material, limits the lean on the truck at the same height.

Bear Gen 6 are really an awesome truck bundle on themselves already, so I think they are the perfect candidate for starting to create an incredible mod. By the way you got a pretty decently equipped workshop. Is this just an intensive hobby or is it also used professionally (besides creating content for youtube)?

Cobra Effect nowdays the 'perverse incentive'. A perverse incentive is an incentive that has an unintended and undesirable result which is contrary to the interests of the incentive makers. Destructo Kingpins (sold as separate components), even the hollows, are stronger than your average bear ; p

@@skate-horizons we had 125 randals but they are kind of old school. And well, the precision/but not spherical calibers are narrow and an in-between price between standard calibers and precision trucks with sphericals like DT and Exile. But well, a new Paris 130 wouldn't hurt 😁

@@skate-horizons yeah Randals were the OG Rkp truck, gving the geometry template to Paris, Calibers and some others. And people seem to made Sphe-randals, but yeah/same, also way before I started too... but I think more modern stuff is better

Hollow gen6 kingpin on the pump = hello broken kingpin. hollow kingpin + spherical = broken kingpin even earlier )

@@MorrisonC5 yeah it's gonna break at some point, but it shouldn't be much earlier than a normal K. consensus seems to be that hollow isn't much weaker!

That's true. Totally disappointed in bear gen6 quality. Broken kingpin in several months, front bushing becoming trash after several hundred kms of pumping. Never again.

@@BalkanWalks66 Thanks for your input, but isnt this typical behaviour for pumping on regular longboard trucks ? Non aircraft kingpins break earlier when pumping andPlug Bushings/insert bushings are also eaten by ldp. Or do you know any other truck that does it better ? I would be interested to know your opinion!

@@skate-horizons Paris V3 150mm 50 works fine so far. Bushing degrades very slowly. Gonna check kingpin's durability, but hope it just survives.
