7:57 I press shift B but it doesnt change anything is something wrong with the configuration? sorry now I see I need to do a little twister and press I and Shift B at the "same" time. And thanks for the video, I want to learn Blender because 3Ds Max is a little pain in the ass and I always want to learn Blender.

at 22:08, for me the circulize tool doesn't fully work and my circles look very "squary" wich is really weird. I tried to fix it, touched all of the options of the looptool circulize but it just doesn't want to work. If you have any idea what could be the problem I would be glad to know, I checked and I did everything just as shown in the tutorial

Subscribed. Very good explanation. I'll try make the robot similar to yours, but, I can't guarantee it 😅 PS: I'm using Blender 2.78c and I don't see how you can replicate the step you made at 8:00 - = shift + b while inset does not make any change in my case. I had to dissolve edges, but, I'm wondering if this is correct. Thank you.
@pixlways
9 ай бұрын
Thanks for subscribing! 😊 I appreciate your feedback. Regarding the step at 8:00, my apologies for the confusion in the video. You're correct; it's the B key, not Shift+B, to achieve the desired effect. Dissolving edges can work as an alternative. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions. Happy modeling! 👍

Respect that you keep it all default blender and no Booleans! Have you ever modeled an historical helmet with some cheek guards? I found it very tricky to achieve their shape and curvature, for the cheek guards that is. I'll provide a model from sketchfab as reference if you are interested in doing a video. It's a very beautiful helmet as well
@pixlways

Thanks for your kind words! As for modeling a historical helmet with cheek guards, that sounds like an interesting challenge! I would be happy to take a look at the reference model you have in mind and see if I can create a tutorial around it. Thank you for the suggestion!
