Bwahahahaha I love when people react to Red Lights. It was actually my first Skz experience and they've had me chained up ever since. Its one of my top favorite Skz songs and this mv is masterpiece. Its gorgeous. Drive is a bop and totally about driving 😂

Woooooowwww I can't imagine Red Lights being first, that would be WILD. Maniac was the first for both of us. And yes the MV is a masterpiece and I've watched over and over and over noticing new things every time.

The concept overcoming/fighting your demons and compulsion to be perfect in all aspects. In the choreography they represent the different sides of the same person.

When Red Lights came out, I could easily believe that Hyunjin participated in making the song coz we practically saw them discussing this at length in the jacuzzi in Howl in Harmony, but I begrudgingly thought back then, "well, he contributed a little bit to the songwriting, its fair to share the credit with him". Fast forward to 2024,after we've heard other Hyunjin written/composed songs like Cover Me, Untitled, Taste, DLMLU, Mic and Brush, I give Hyunjin equal props for this masterpiece and believe what Chan said--- that Hyunjin made the song and that Chan translated the English parts and toned it down coz Hyunjin's original version was more intense. I can recognize a HYunjin song now based on the lyrics in the same way that I can tell which ones are written by Han.

Look -- you are so right. Hyunjin is a genius like FAM says. Cover Me is one of our favorites from Rock Star.

No one is ready for the Red Lights video. They may think they are - they aren't. Have fun watching the live performance - it's something. I wish that they used the English translation of the Korean title - "Compulsion." The Howl in Harmony episodes are all excellent, but Chan and Hyunjin's conversation goes DEEP and I could see the concept for the music video form as I watched them talk. The chains, ropes, and mirroring of each other all make sense, but it wasn't until I watched the Howl in Harmony videos that I understood the shots of them staring into the mirrors (besides for a healthy appreciation for Chan's back.)

Thank you so much, it means a lot to us that you liked it!!! We really like thinking about deeper meanings in music, especially when the assumption is that Spicy songs might not have depth, but they can and do!

Regarding their solo and collab projects aside from albums, I love that they get to do these... I think it is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to express themselves outside of the group and still be supported by the group. Unlike many talented groups I've seen in my long lifetime, I don't feel like I'll have to worry about them breaking up because someone wants to go solo. They have been doing personal and group projects the whole time. I think it is so very smart of them...

Maybe it's just cause my main focus in Kpop is BTS & Stray Kids, but I've noticed in other groups that it's fairly normal for members to do solo and subunit projects. We both really like that dynamic, because it's not rigid, it allows them to be individual artists with what they feel drawn to, and allows them to always be a supportive group for each other. While their schedules can be intense, the community aspect of their work sounds very comforting.
