@kittyhearts3331

@@TheHippieGeeks another nice thing is that, as new product lines drop repeatedly, LED panels become extremely cheap. The improvements are largely incremental, so the older lights are generally still functionally great. You'll lose 0.1-2umol/J, maybe 50-75PPFD@12"/light compared to the newest models, but as long as you're sizing them appropriately that shouldn't be an issue and is mitigated by proper spacing, movement, and/or supplemental lighting. I am (not my yt profile) using just a few VP600s and they were only $45 each shipped. For a 911PPFD light with industry standard diode spectra running ~300 (mostly LM281+) diodes that's not bad, and I've seen 2000+ PPFD lights with comparable diodes for sub-$150. The shiny new stuff is great, and the detachable driver is a game changer when you get to the size of the SF in video, but for the home grower doing a 4x4 or 2x6 closet setup or whatever, last-model lights are the way to go right now.

As for the carbon filters, I have moved completely away from having them in the tent, the space is just too valuable :) All of our exhaust fans are now out of the tents with the filters, which may not work for some folks but I think it's going to be best for us. Make sure to leave about 2 feet of space below the light when flipping to flower, a plant can do a crazy amount of stretching when the flip happens. Last year one of our outdoor plants stretched another 3.5' in the stretch, it was insane. It also helps the finish, but do your own research on that and decide for yourself. The temp and humidity problems are real though for sure in a 3x3 etleast those last couple weeks in general but especially with that light. Other than that...... amazing. Perfect price/quality.
