Part 2 of 2 This is a version of Spinoza's ontological argument. Professor Grossman effectively argues for the existence of the Spinozistic God from an analogy in set theory. Unlike the theistic view of God--which posits him wholly other than the world--Spinoza's view of God contains reality within itself. This conception remains a surprisingly tenable view in light of modern science, and was even one held by Einstein himself.
