The cat is so smart. Cat knew how to get up the stairs without falling.

I got to make myself one of these for my space. Getting everything cut with my everlast plasma cutter would be much easier if it were on a cnc but definitely doable.

Yep! Make sure you're opening is spot on. Take the time (or pay someone) to do it correctly. The stairs themselves are a piece of cake

Thanks! I probably won't do another one too soon, as we don't have any major home projects coming up. But next time we do, I'll post another video for sure.

Is that a 42" diameter spiral staircase? How much space do you have left on the side balister and the opening?

What kit did you buy for this?
@andy-lehman
6 жыл бұрын
I can't remember the exact specs of the kit (model # etc), but it's the 17 in. tread. I would recommend calling Salter Spiral stairs and having them walk through taking measurements with you. Doing that part right is the most important part. Installing the kit once you have the opening correctly built is pretty easy, but time consuming.

How practical are stairs this size? Enough room to get up and down with a laundry basket in hand?
@andy-lehman
7 жыл бұрын
Hey Nathan, It can be done, but with the 17" tread, it's not easy. We put a tight staircase in to save space. I'd still do it again, but only use a stair tread that small if you really need to save the space. Andy
