Spite are a Nu-Metal band that formed in Charlotte, NC in 1993. Discogs says the band was formed by "...Christopher Boone and David Vause, who auditioned a few different drummers and bass players before settling down with bassist Jay Bynum and drummer Michael Pressley." After David and Michael left the band, they acquired Guitarist John Crumpton and drummer Byron McDonald before recording their second album in 1997.
Heavy Whipping Cream was the band's second release and features a nosier sound than Crucial Moment Of Insertion, it was also the first to feature Spite's new bassist Josh Pratt. This album was also the first album to fully feature Byron McDonald on drums. The songs "For What", "Beautiful", "You And I", and "Typical" were re-recorded for their next album Bastard Complex.
