Temple Newsam Ten is an awesome ten muddy miles of trail through the Temple Newsam Estate and around Skelton Lake. It's a relatively new race but it sells out every year. This year I forgot to enter so I decided to go and support at the Puddle of Doom! To be fair the puddle didn't contain quite as much doom as it has on previous years but it was clear that everyone had fun in it nonetheless... Although, there were some runners who avoided the puddle?!
This isn't my usual style of video but as I was supporting at the puddle I decided to film it for everyone running so that they could see themselves splashing around and having fun! I almost lost my voice from so much cheering but it was so much fun to support. My wonderful friend Doris had just lost her mum and ran this race in her honour. With 'MUM' written on her legs she got around these ten difficult miles with smiles and tears and I couldn't be more proud of her. Let's all be more Doris!
