I loved Lock Every Door. Also loved Home Before Dark and enjoyed The Last Time I Lied. Middle of the Night was just ok. I have Final Girls but still need to read it. Then need to get and read his other three, Survive the Night, House Across the Lake, and the one I'm most excited about.. The Only One Left. I heard that The Only One Left has gothic vibes. I get all his books in the Book of the Month edition because that's how it started and now I can't stop 😆

Oh wow I don't even think I realized how many books he'd written. So glad to hear you loved Lock Every Door - I'm definitely looking forward to it!

I read Hide a couple years ago. I had fun with it. Looking forward to reading Lucy Undying when my library hold comes in!

There's been so many books in the Dracula vein (lol) right now! You'll have to come back and tell me if you loved it.

I'm so glad you're feeling better!! ♥ I have an autoimmune disease too that I'm still trying to get under control (waiting to get into the rheumatologist takes forever) anyway, it's uncomfortable no matter which oneyou have. And it makes my heart happy that you're doing better and back to doing what you love. :) I read The Halloween Moon when it first came out and adored it. It had hype at first and then i feel like everyone just stopped talking about it. Which is a shame because i think more people need to read it. Highly underrated! I feel like we have a similar interest in books. And where you like gothic haunted house stories (as do i) I think you might like The Silent Companions if you haven't already :)

@@alittlereader thank you!! I def know what you mean. I was on the waitlist for my endo for 10 months. I hope you’re able to be seen by the rheumatologist soon - and that your symptoms and inflammation stay down in the meantime. Always here to talk if it gets rough too. I’m SO excited to meet a fellow Halloween Moon fan!! Totally agree that it was underrated. Thank you so much for this rec - I haven’t read it but it’s def on my list now! 👻

if you love Hitchcock.. I'm right now one of the books I'm reading is The Hitchcock Hotel by Stephanie Wrobel. A guy opens up a Hitchcock themed hotel and invites some old college friends... there ends up being a body... I'll just say that of the synopsis since I just started it.

@@spellbound_bj I'm about halfway through now and addicted lol. I'm listening to Hitchcockian music in the background while reading. Lots of movie and a handful of literary references. it's a fun one imo!
