Pro tip. Find the album Haunted by Poe to listen alongside reading House of Leaves. They complement each other so amazingly well!

Oh man Let The Right One In gave me such horrible nightmares, all with guilt themes where I'd wake up convinced I had done terrible things long in the past and repressed them. I recall it was a pretty darn bleak read with some triggering themes. LOVE the movie though!

Yo! For Let The Right One In, I’ve seen both movies and the American one is surprisingly better imo. Me n my partner love it and think it’s just so sincere, and has such a cool atmosphere to it. Plus it’s very wintery feeling! Highly recommend.

I don’t like scary books or scary movies, so the only book I’ve read here is Nimona. I hope you like Nimona. I really cannot remember anything about it. I’ve actually been thinking about rereading it because I’m currently reading the Lumberjanes series and I LOVE IT. I’m on book 3 of that. HAPPY READING!

The Witch Boy and the rest of the series is wonderful! I like everything Riley Sager writes. I highly suggest Final Girls by him. Lastly, I’m Thinking About Ending Things is uh... it’s a weird one!

Please read House of Many Ways after Howl's Moving Castle! It is such an amazing sequel (I willfully ignore the existence of the real second book in the trilogy, but I guess its worth reading once.)
