Awesome story about your grandfather Steve. I can remember watching the Sandberg game on my birthday at 6 years old and my grandpa picking me up when Sandberg tied the game in the 9th and telling me he did it bc of my birthday. It's how I became a Cubs fan for life!

Thanks for sharing some of your memories of your grandfather. My love of the Braves comes from my Granddaddy Ray. He loved the Braves and since they were on TBS back in the day, you could watch every game. I would go to his house after school, “Watcha going Granddaddy?” He would say “Watching the sorry Braves!” He passed in early 1991. That next year when Sid slid into home, we said Granddaddy helped his slow butt around the bases! Good memories and now I got a little dirt in my eye. Keep up the content Steve, keep bringing smiles to the kids and all us old guys who are kids at heart!

Hi Steve, Thanks for your latest video from The National. I was very emotional listening to you talking about your grandfather and your relationship with him. I only wish that I was that close to a relative. Not everyone is lucky 🍀 enough to have such a precious relationship with a loved one. I am glad that you have had such an experience. You and Michael Hamm are great partners and the same thing with Sports Card Dad! Have a great week ahead. Your giveaway for The National was terrific this year. Best Wishes, Peter

It was awesome meeting you at the National this year Steve. You are one of the great ones in the Hobby. Not only is the give away top notch, but on top of that the zion case and holders to kid's just an awesome gesture. Enjoyed your National videos and love the new nickname you gave NEO "Sexy Boy Toy". Until next time....

I like the bold pick by NEO of Justin Jefferson at number two. CeeDee and Tyreek on the double pick is solid choice, too. Appreciate all the National content and always nice to know I’m not the only one that gets emotional about these cardboard connections. I find it wonderful to allow that to influence and guide my collecting!

Great video, Steve. I wasn’t close with my grandfather, but I watched a ton of baseball with my Dad. I remember sitting out on the porch listening to Reds games on the radio when Rose was chasing DiMaggio’s hit streak record. And yeah, Mr no comps dealer… hard pass. Just say it’s $2800 firm, don’t be a douche about it.

Sorry for your loss It’s tough. I have been treated bad by dealers. It hurts. Spoils the day sometimes. I am a dealer and have been told I treat people right. But I know there have been times that I have been cranky. I regret those times I regret those so much. All u can do is try to learn from it and be better. Hopefully the dealer you talked about will try to be better in future. Kudos for being nice to kids. PS. Love the dingus! Or was it Dingo? Sorry I forgot. Jess

You're a bit sensitive. Just look at the majority of people who are involved with this "hobby". Hoarders, drug/gambling addicts and greedy paper chasers who are overweight with health issues.
