Time to wrap up this trip through Shanghai and Hong Kong, but not before I squeeze in some spotting at Hong Kong's Skydeck in the late afternoon.
The video includes what glimpses of Hong Kong's airport we can glance from the train as we arrive and some views of the Skydeck and exhibit pieces outside.
Even with the sun backlighting the landing shots, the Skydeck is a nice place for spotting and a great way to overlook the airport. We were watching Runway 07 operations while here which gave us a good opportunity for some great departure shots with some lovely mountains in the backdrop.
Dominated by home airline, Cathay Pacific, this was a good opportunity to see some of their other aircraft than the A330's they sent to Australia at the time and similarly with some other airlines like British Airways, China Airlines and UPS, we were able to see some of their other equipment as well.
Singapore Airlines Cargo 744F, British Airways A388, China Airlines A343, Cathay Pacific (Oneworld) A333, EVA Air 744, Saudi Arabian Cargo 744F, Bangkok Air A319, Cathay Pacific 77W, UPS 744F, Cathay Pacific 77W.
