I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the kzitem.infoUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well. With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings. For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance. For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.

Not a lot of discussion about eyeglass wearers & older folks that have to glue their eyeball to the objective lens to get a clear view on cheaper SC's. Also for use at the range to see bullet holes at 3-400 yrs . Is eye relief more for head positioning and the size of the exit pupil the most important for eye glass wearers? The exit pupils at 1.4mm and most eye relief 18-22 mm. 18-22 mm seems too low for eye glass wearers to view at range or for long period of time?

Stright or angle which is better for shooting range if I am sitting at the bench rest?

I like angled, because I can spin the body in the mount and orient the eyepiece to where I can look through it by just turning my head without having the spotter right in front of my face. - DK

Good day Apologies my english (i'm from Montreal Canada: so i'm French Canadian) I just bought a spotting scope : PENTAX PF-80ED-A........... My question is this: Can a good spotting scope like this is ok to go outside at temperture of -20 celcius (-4 Fahrenheit) ? I hesitated a lot and I'm scare of dammaging my PENTAX PF-80ED-A or the eyepiece Papers talk only about hi temperture like in the car in summer. What about a good canadian cold winter? Thank you for your answer.

Some dealers say the straight scope has an advantage optically... looking for why. For tracking birds in flight as well as RC gliders I like a straight scope, for shooting obviously a 45 degree angle. And hand holding the scope the straight has the advantage again.

Straight scopes don't need the prism to divert the light to 45 or 90 deg. Prism in the light path increase focal length also. Straight scope can have wider angle , lower power views, I think!

akaeldin not sure if you bought one yet but Wal-Mart has a simmons spotting scope for 60 bucks I bought one the other day and I can clearly see with no issues at 2000 yards. the tripod isn't the best but for the price the scope is amazing

Man, why spend so much $$$ ($60) at Walmart when you can go to dollar tree, they have a spotter for $12 that will resolve 22cal shots out to 4000 yards even on a hot day with mirage effects!

Volume is too low. Had to strain to make out what you were saying. Other than that it was informative and well put together.
