By the time you’re done cleaning that thing out I’ll be waiting for the 2nd coat of paint to dry 😂

A professional running a bazooka would make this guy look like he was standing still
@illustriouschin
A new shopping mall? Why bother building it, just dump all the materials into a pile and abandon it now.
@dahmen165
He’s wearing a mask.......this explains a lot.
@Flakester
This wall wasnt meant to look good, that much is clear.
@westoneaves7761
Wait, is Covid a thing again?
@philnoreen8642
Break out the bazooka. The wheel doesn't need reinventing

That mask says it all😅

Well I'm betting the tip was already ruined before this because the abrasive nature of drywall mud is going to eat anything it goes through
@christenrten
This looks like a temporary hoarding wall in a shopping mall, which will likely be covered by vinyl graphics advertising the new store under construction. Dude is finishing the wall as fast as possible so the rest of the mall can reopen in the morning.

Followed behind their work for almost 50 years as a trim carpenter...installers and drywall finishers deserve a lot more credit when its done professionally..The Forgotten Crew

one guy with a bazooka would make him look like he was going backwards.
@wadebass5600
As a painter, id guess that mud would wear out that piston on the sprayer pretty quick
@jorbace
By the time you finish sprayed, I’ll be sanding the house. 😂
@jeffz1220
Please don’t tell me the sound troweling mud will ever go away. It’s the most relaxing sound ever, and most satisfying to watch
@ThisManTriggeredMe
Born consumers. People buying stuff that serves absolutely no purpose. We've been doing drywall in this country for 75 years we've never had to spray spackle onto a wall before taping the joint. Seriously what purpose does this serve other than enriching the corporation that tricked you into thinking you needed that?
@rogergivens2800
When I was running the acme bazooka I pulled around 350 , 500 ft rolls a day with a wipe down crew behind me that was 25 years ago it didn't take long to clean up the bazooka at all and I was working for commercial drywall at that time.

Good to see someone who can think for themselves. Bazookas however efficient you can be, are heavy, fiddly and only good for paper. Beyond the bazooka is another 2coats which can be sprayed on. All beads,internals(flushed) can be sprayed. 2 jointers can have a far easier day spraying mud and not boxing. I agree that a bazooka can’t be re invented but it’s hard work. It probably depends on weather you own a graco and know how to use it that would expose you to the efficiency of a m5. For me in the uk, I joint and spray airless plaster so the graco just becomes the natural tool of choice. I admire those who have mastered the bazooka, I trialled one and by the end of the day I was back using a donut roller..without proper training it’s a ballache. The tip I use is a 535 incase anyone wants to know and the mud needs to be a similar consistency to what the bazooka, manual mud pump requires.
