Hello Carl mate,We have a chance of rain today Sunday of August . Little bit of foggy today. Calves our sure growing real good. Tessa sure doing a wonderful job her husband went back to work , Mekenzie and Dallas in school and miss out on helping feed calves. Carl tell your Dad & Mom hi and hope your mom feels better we our praying for her recovery. Got to spread that urea before rain hits . Who plants your corn in pasture’s? Why you have a digger going to clean the ditches.Hope you get a 100% on your inspection . We get army maneuvers about every two to three months they move from one base to another. They spook the cattle every time they come through.

Hey Rosemary mate. Long time. Damn the army must be very annoying. But still the best military in the world. Here’s hoping Inspection goes good. I’ll get started on the shed it’s a month out. Yep we will in the summer as it’s a bit wet the digger will make a bit of a mess. The urea got spread perfect timing and damn has the grass taken off. The local contractor plants our corn. We do all the ground work so he just has to plant. Thank you so much Rosemary. Mum is recovering great. She was very sick when we were dried off. But is way better compared. Tessa does do a great job at feeding the calves. As much as makenzie and Dallas like to help. They do slow her down a little bit. Haha. But they’ll get better in the years to come. Did you get the rain on Sunday? Yea amazing how the fog can roll in and out in a few hours.

@@Dozerthefarmer Hello Carl mate, yes we got rain that Sunday and 3 days hit and miss of rain. Glad to hear your mom is doing good . But still in our prayers for full recovery. Tessa , Makenzie , Dallas it’s wonderful to see them helping and her husband. Yea kids do slow you down a bit but will learn . They’re so wonderful watching them try their best to help . Glad you got the urea spread nice timing before it rained. Wow. A contractor plants the field’ s and you do the harvest and ground work. Here we do it all ground work and planting plus harvest crops. Some fields we have to take head off of combine its way too big to go through the gate that’s time consuming and a pain in the butt. Glad to hear your milk production is doing read good.

Hey Mate with little Hereford calves do they still have to be dehorned or does the Polled genetics avoid that

Hey John mate. 90% of Herefords are coming out polled based on genetics. The other 10% that don’t get the polled genes will be dehorned up at dad’s place by the vets once they’re all shifted up there.
