Twenty-four-plus minutes (with no edits that I saw) of quality content with no stumbles, fumbles, bumbles or awkward moments of silence. That is NOT easy, but you guys make it look as simple as snagging a jerkbait on a tree branch. These are labeled "Buyers' Guides", but they are so much more. it's easy to see that you have detailed knowledge of, and extensive experience with, the products involved, and it's great that you share it with us. Thanks as always for the very interesting and informative videos!

TacticalBassin was the first fishing channel I subscribed to on KZitem and hands down still the one I look forward to watching the most. I’m a certified tackle addict like most of us here and Matt and Tims hard work in bait testing really helps narrow down what’s worth picking up. What little time I get on the water is precious so throwing things that I’m confident will actually perform is everything to me. I’d love to fish every day and test every bait on the market but I’m not as lucky as Matt & Tim to get to fish so often. Thanks Matt & Tim you both do so much for your followers and it’s appreciated.

Been holding on to a pack of green pumpkin paca slims with the blue tips on the claws- tbh I got them in a monster box back last season and I just wasn't that impressed when I looked at them- so i never fished them. I have tons of craw style creature baits- seems like every box has at least one pack in them and every time anyone buys me anything- it's always craws. And every person is always so proud of themselves- they think they've brought me something really unique- I always act like I've never seen anything like them, and then I throw them in the box with the other 50-60 packs of craws. I get it, they don't fish and it's an obvious forage item everyone knows we have so, they think it's perfect. And it is- if I didn't have so many packs of them already. But anyway- all that to just say, tomorrow, I'm going to bust out those paca slims. Thanks for the heads up.

If I'm fishing a stick bait, which I generally am, I'm usually going Yum Dinger. Not only is it a true budget bait, but they don't use salt so it floats. On a Texas rig that means the tail is sticking up and wiggling. Here in the deep south, we don't have many lakes with hard bottoms; it's mainly just a bunch of muck and grass. So being able to fish the bottom and not having my bait disappear in all that is key.
@logicalrationalfishing7481

Well stated. I fish river systems here in the South so it doesn't always matter, but more buoyant baits definitely help in soft bottom waters.

Jacked myself a 20in 5lb smallie up here in Kingsport TN yesterday! Im still so hyped on it! Great fight man! Caught it on a flashy swimmer with a 3in spark shad, rigged up on my Mojo MHF with a ABU revo X spooled with 12# suffix elite. I knew i was about to catch a decent fish , but had no ideal it was going to be my 3rd 5# smallie of the year so far! But she was! Can,t express enough how much this channel has helped me over the past 3 years, TB and just a handful of other hardcore HOG chasing channel's are all I watch. I am only serious about learning how to angle on BIG BASS! I talked to a local, he said that the blue hue to a craw bait works so well during the spring because when the crawfish come out of hibernation, they lose their shell and grow a new one. When they do so, their shell has a blue hue to them. Very interesting thing that I didn’t know about.

I've been watching you guys for so long that when you guys do videos like this I always make a game out of it by trying to guess what you guys are going to pick. There were 3 baits that I thought you would hands down say, that surprisingly didn't make the list in this video. 1) I'm surprised you talked worms and didn't pull out the T-Mac. 2) I thought about the Gambler Big EZ, but I thought you would've gone with the Hazedong 3) Last, I thought you would have gone with the old reliable Rage Craw over the Paca Slim

I'm a big fan of the Biospawn line of baits. I like the exostick on a shakey head or Texas rig. The plasmatail is a great drop shot or Texas rig. The vilecraw is a go to flipping/pitching bait. I think these new video ideas are a nice touch to increase the range of viewers for the channel. I'm curious if either one of you have tried hand pouring your own bait molds ie: soft plastics and jigs. Good Morning Sirs, Matt and Tim, This question is for Matt, when do you usually fish Rancho Seco? I think I was a little to late this past weekend..
@weshallfishing7122
2 жыл бұрын
Living here in Florida usually I will always have a senko or a speed worm in my hands. All my biggest fish have came off of them besides flipping and the occasional frog bite. I’ve fished a lot of lakes in a lot of places and one thing I can say is that every single category you guys have mentioned in this video work. The one thing I throw a ton here is a drop shot, the tidal rivers like the St. John’s are very hard to fish at times especially with no grass anymore so we have definitely had to come up with these finesse presentations and get to learn them since these fish aren’t holding on grass flats or anything like that anymore.
@jtotherog

@@jtotherog about 4-5 years ago some hurricanes came through and they killed all the grass on the river and FWC likes to spray as well. Killed all the hydrilla, eel grass, pepper grass, and dollar pads. All that’s left is the occasional patch of buggy whips and flat pads.
