It was another beautiful Day in Murrells Inlet SC. I wanted to try something different in this outing by using some live bait to target Flounder, Trout and Redfish inshore. The day started out slow with no Bites. I changed to a Bass Assassin, Electric Chicken, and caught my first Flounder. It was now game on.
I found this small inshore creek and throw a mud minnow on a Carolina rig and hooked into my second Flounder. After exhausting that spot and losing something big, I decided to move to a small creek. It was low tide and there was a small saltwater pool holding fish. I threw the Bass Assassin and they didn’t want any part of that. I remember the old saying “Everything eats a Shrimp” and it was game on. I changed lures to a Savage Shrimp and bang…..Trout. 5 minutes later a Flounder decided to come and Play.
I ended my day with 3 flounder and 1 trout. Another productive and Fun day In Murrells Inlet.
