Cool vid--I've got same boat as you and looking to add electric riggers--right now I have manuals. I see you have the power cords going into the seat posts for the back bench. How difficult was it to get that done?

It was the easiest route for me. I did not want to put holes in my boat so I just unscrewed the post, drilled a hole in the bottom and fed the wires through. You can’t have your back rest in while you have them plugged in but I have a tether on them so I can drop them down if I need my back rest and pull them back up when I plug my riggers in. I’d never have my backrest on while I am fishing anyway.

You don’t stick your hands into the gills then release them! Also don’t throw them in a belly flop when releasing. A heads first plunge is better for their survival. Remove that rear white light post as soon as you can while fishing. It’s in the way for rod movement.

We use a variety of different lines but the lines featured in this clip are 25 pound mono on our Dipsy and downrigger poles and then leadcore lines with a 25 pound mono leader. As far as spoons, the spoons that caught fish in this video are a moonshine, spoons sandbur, a silver streak spoons, black, screwball, and a Michigan stinger Spoon KC1
