Spring with chaga and birch sap.
It has been important to use the areas nearby home this spring.
Today you can join us on our daytrip 2.April 2020. We follow the old Post Road (established in the 17th century). We show you how to tap birch sap, and collect chaga. Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) is a type of fungus that grows mainly on the bark of birch trees. Some people consider chaga to be medicinal. Since the 16th century Chaga has been used in folk and botanical medicine throughout Eastern Europe.
We enjoy to use the wilderness nearby home without using the tracks and paths. When we have collected the chaga, you can follow us on a little "expedition" like this - finding a little lake nearby.
Wilderness and outdoor activities in Norway, with 2 huskies and us "slightly old ladies":Tove and Kaja. Join everyday trips and expeditions. Get tips and ideas for your own tours , or a good virtual tour for you that does not even have the opportunity to come out. We are concerned that outdoor life is good medicine that promotes physical and mental health , and gives us quality of life and joy.
Welcome to enjoy, and remember to subscribe ;)
